It is often common for children to always complain about going to school because it interferes with the fun they may be having while at home. But it is a great deal when a child regularly maintains that he/she is not going to school. It is your task as a parent to investigate and determine what made the deeds of your child change suddenly. You should look if the school has any history of bullying instances. Bullying will always create a constant fear in the child making him/her afraid to go to school. Informing the management about the bullying in the school will be a good action, so that the management can punish or suspend the bullies.

Secondly, you should check the performance of your child at school. It is vital to look at the performance cards of your child to see his/her progress. It is also important to check his/her assignments and on how she performs on those assignments. Always congratulate your child in the areas that he/she has performed outstandingly. You should assist your child where she did not perform well to expectations, Helping your child in doing some of the homework or projects will also boost his/her morale. You should encourage your child if he/she did not perform well that there is always a next time. You should always remind your child that education is one ways of making it life, there are other ways too.

Finally, maybe your child is not comfortable with the teaching ways of his/her teacher. You should ask your child to tell you about his/her teachers. You should be able to find out how comfortable your child is with his/her teacher teaching techniques. Once you find out that the issue is the teacher, you can talk to the management of the school to sort the issue out. Some of the children will also hate school because their teachers are not giving them the attention they want. You should advise your child on how to attract the attention of the teacher, like by raising a hand.
